Obama Supported Pushing Moderates Out Of Democrat Party

You know how every election cycle, the MSM tells the Republican Party how they're too extreme and they need to embrace the moderates of the party link Linc Chafee, Arlen Specter and the like? Funny how you never hear them browbeat the Democrat Party in that fashion. In fact, we often hear that the Democrat Party is very moderate except for a few "passionate" members like Barbara Lee or Pete Stark.

Apparently Barack Obama agrees with this assessment. In 2005, he wrote a blog post at Daily Kos proposing that the party drive out Democrats who "appease the right-wing." Sweetness & Light unearthed the post and Gateway Pundit has the details.

Anatomy Of A Smear, Creation Of An Urban Legend

Okay, I fancy myself a media theorist and generally brilliant guy, so in an effort to put up or shut up, here's my take on this whole Palin baby story.

First, you have a diarist at Daily Kos speculate that Sarah Palin's son Trig, who has Down's syndrome is in fact her grandchild and the baby was born to her daughter Bristol in one of those famous American teenage pregnancies. In an effort to cover for her daughter, Kos accuses Palin of faking her pregnancy. They use pictures of Bristol Palin with a bit of a tummy as their proof.

Well, as it turns out Bristol is pregnant, as we speak. She got pregnant with her boyfriend who she will soon marry and have the child. Naturally, this makes the left-wing bloggers happy while the rest of us say, okay, so what?

Now we've entered the realm where truth is no longer a factor. The story has received enough attention from the MSM that the idea of the faked pregnancy is now a part of pop culture. For the rest of Sarah Palin's life, people will always wonder if Trig is her son or grandson and it will always be quipped about by her political enemies.

The plus side for Sarah Palin in this is that it's not the worst thing one can be suspected of. What mother wouldn't be willing to do this for her child, some will say. It's out there, it can't be undone. That's the way of urban legends.

For me, it doesn't change a damn thing. I couldn't care less that her daughter is pregnant. Family matter. But I'll tell you this, there's not way the Kos diarist just got lucky. Obama's prints are all over this one.

MORE: Yes, Bristol being pregnant now makes it impossible that she is Trig's mother, but you're letting truth get in the way my dear reader. That's the point of my post. Truth doesn't matter when you're creating an urban legend. The Left knows this.

The Destruction Of Sarah Palin

Well, it's been about 8 hours since John McCain introduced his Vice Presidential running-mate Sarah Palin. Here's a short list of what's been thrown at the Alaska Governor is this small time-frame:

1) Daily Kos speculates that Palin's baby with Down's Syndrome is actual the child of her eldest daughter and Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover it up.

2) Wired Magazine reports that Palin wants creationism taught in schools.

3) Florida Democrat Robert Wexler accuses Palin of being a Nazi sympathizer.

4) House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer says Palin is a worse VP pick than Dan Quayle. (If he truly believed that, you'd think he'd be happier)

That's just a short list and all I have the patience for. It's very frustrating to see all this but such is life in America. Gotta walk away from it for awhile, for sanity's sake.

Daily Kos Celebrates 60 Years Of Hating Israel

Okay, the Daily Kos has only been around a few years, but anti-Semitism has been around for many moons. There was once a day when those on the so-called "right wing" were the anti-Semites, but no longer. The Left has a near total monopoly on Jew hatred. It astonishes me that any Jew in America can vote for the Democrats (sans the self-hating Jews).

Lovin' The Haters

If you need a perfect amalgam of the logic and ideology behind the Democrat Party, look no further than this post in the Daily Kos. The blogger, or "diarist" is a Jewish lesbian who admits that if Ahmadinejad had his way, she'd be dead. Despite this, she can't help but have a crush on the little madman because he just hates Bush and the United States so much! The mind boggles.

Completely demented. Still, I hope and pray that Kos is successful in his plan to "clean house."

That Was The Week That Was

It was quite a week. We lost Kurt Vonnegut, though he felt like he didn't belong in this country anyway. I guess no matter where he went, he's in a better place from his perspective. Old hippies never really die, they just get dumber.

It was also a week of lynching as Don Imus was destroyed by The Justice Brothers. But there was one hero in all of this: Jason Whitlock.

But it wasn't a slam-dunk week for the Justice Brothers, the Duke Lacrosse players were set free by the North Carolina Attorney General and declared innocent. However, the MSM isn't going to take it lying down as ABC reporter Terry Moran tells us we shouldn't feel sorry for Duke kids because after all, they are rich white kids, probably Republicans. Screw 'em. Kos must be proud.
